Writing and Editing Strategies for Graduate Multilingual Writers

This workshop will introduce strategies to use while writing in English and tips and tricks for editing and proofreading your own writing.


Overview	This workshop will introduce strategies to use while writing in English and tips and tricks for editing and proofreading your own writing. This is not a grammar review. We will look at strategies for incorporating discipline-specific vocabulary, idioms or idiomatic expressions, as well as for improving style and clarity to help you express your ideas as thoughtfully and as articulately as you'd like. Workshop participants should bring a sample of their writing (anything!) to the workshop.

Intended Audience	This workshop is intended for graduate multilingual students who would like to improve their writing in English.

Duration	1.5 hours
