Creating Research Posters

Review rhetorical strategies and analyze sample posters, then work on your own layout for a research poster.



Overview

If you need to create a research poster, this two-part workshop is for you! In Part I, offered by the Writing Center, you'll analyze sample posters and discuss strategies you can employ for maximum rhetorical effectiveness. In Part II, offered by DoIT, you'll experiment with Adobe Illustrator and begin designing your own research poster.

This workshop is intended for those who need to create a research poster.

(DoIT Section 1 will be offered in B207 Computer Sciences; DoIT Section 2 will be offered in B203 Computer Sciences.)
