meetings

While administrative staff are available for individual consultation throughout the semester, we also schedule two important group meetings for all faculty currently using Writing Fellows in their courses: an orientation meeting before classes begin and a mid-semester check-in meeting around the seventh or eighth week of the semester.

Please keep an eye out for announcements about meeting times.

Meetings are brief and informal, usually scheduled as brown-bag lunches, but they're an important opportunity for faculty to talk together about how to work effectively with Fellows. They provide a forum in which faculty new to the program can ask questions and learn from other committed teachers who have chosen to work with Writing Fellows, and in which experienced faculty can share advice and suggestions. The meetings are also a valuable source of feedback for the administrative staff. Please plan to attend these meetings even if you're not new to the program.
