Do you have longer writing projects with deadlines? Do you feel stuck and need tips for moving from resistance to writing in an effective and timely manner? We will frame our opening and closing sessions to address some of these questions in our weekly themes. This group seeks to support you in your writing journey as you write with other writers sharing their struggles and strategies.
During our opening session, we will set realistic goals using our goal setting sheet or its Google Doc version and spend most of our time writing. We will then gather for the closing session to reflect and share our accomplishments. The facilitator (Yinka) will be available to support you through brief one-to-one conferences during the allotted time. Together, we can talk through your projects and help you make significant progress in your writing.

To receive priority consideration for a Spring 2024 writing group, please complete this interest form no later than Sunday, January 28, at 11:59 p.m. CT. Forms received after this date will be considered for additional openings or for our waitlist.
We will notify you about your writing group assignment by Thursday, February 1. Your facilitator will then follow up with a welcome message that includes information about your group’s plan for meeting.
