Looking for community, accountability, and sustained writing time as you tackle your work? This writing group will meet weekly on the 6th floor of Helen C. White Hall to support graduate students working on academic writing projects of any type and at any stage. We’ll start each session with a group check-in to share goals and troubleshoot any roadblocks. The majority of the session will be dedicated to individual writing time, during which participants will have the opportunity to briefly discuss their work one-on-one with the facilitator. The final minutes will be held to reflect on the day’s accomplishments and share in success with one another. Throughout the semester we’ll keep an eye towards the importance of well-being and self-care in the writing process.
