Oral presentations can sometimes feel underwhelming. This workshop digs into how to present using slides to emphasize key points and enhance your presentation by making it more dynamic, compelling, and visually stimulating. We will focus on the conceptual, aesthetic, and technical elements of designing a presentation. This workshop will include how to organize your ideas, connect your message to your audience, use simple design principles to make your slides stand out for all the right reasons, as well as provide tips and tricks to avoid common mistakes.
Co-sponsored by DesignLab Division for Teaching and Learning.
