Join us for a writing retreat focused on writing as a tool for self-care and collective care in times of stress. In collaboration with University Health Services (UHS), this retreat will explore how writing can support well-being. After an introduction from UHS, you will have time to write individually. You will be invited to use prompts and resources related to writing as an act of self-care. You may also use this time to make progress on your writing projects like class papers, dissertations, or other work. Writing Center instructors will be available for brief consultations throughout, and the session will close with some reflective exercises. By the end of this retreat, participants will have made progress on their writing goals and learned about the connection between writing and mental health.
