Have you always wanted to create or join a writing group, but were nervous about getting started? Have you been part of writing groups in the past, but struggled with mismatched goals or commitment levels among group members? In this discussion-based workshop we consider how to design, organize, and maintain an effective and supportive writing group–one that helps encourage progress and accountability among its members. Open to creative and/or academic writers at all levels, this workshop will rely on conversation and activities to help you develop a toolkit for making a writing group work for you.
