If you’re working on multiple papers, a senior thesis, dissertation, or other extended writing project, a Writing Mentorship may be a good fit for you so that you can work with the same instructor on a regular basis (usually every week or every other week) throughout the semester. You’ll have the option to have an in-person mentorship or an online writing mentorship through Virtual Meetings or Written Feedback. Most mentorships will begin in weeks 4-6 of the semester depending on mentor and mentee availability.

Because of the high demand for Writing Mentorships, we have historically prioritized students who have not yet had the opportunity to have a mentorship in our matching process. For this reason, you may want to think about which semester in your academic career would be the best time to participate in this program.
